They clearly explain things to you, call you to keep you updated and never have sounded frustrated or annoyed with phone calls to them to find out what is happening. I recently had my dog in for a liver issue and was told they had never seen such high levels. The only way he would eat is if I fed him and they encouraged me each day to come and see him, try to feed him, let me sit in the cage with him because for him, that was the way they saw him getting better. They individualize the case, not treat them as just another dog. Today, thanks to them, Brown is back to being his goofy self when we really didn't expect him to make it. Reasons why I would recommend Rau: 1) They offer free seminars that have helped us be better pet parents, such as their dental seminar! Mozart gets his teeth brushed almost every night, and we learned how to pick out toys and how to care for his gums. 2) They try to save you a trip to the emergency center; their facility has amazing hours and almost everything you would need to check out your puppy in an emergency. An onsite lab and X-rays make worrisome visits a bit easier as results come much faster. 3) If you have a question, they have an answer. I have never felt like a nuisance calling with a question. The administrative staff is quick and helpful, relaying questions to doctors right away and calling you back almost immediately. 4) They genuinely care.
