Because pets are family SM

Our mission is to ensure happier, healthier lives for pets and peace of mind for their people by providing the most comprehensive pet insurance coverage in one simple plan.

Covered For Life®

We welcome all dogs and cats six weeks and older to enroll, and cover new injuries or illnesses for all breeds.

While your policy options may change, including the amount of annual coverage, co-pay, deductible and premium, we'll never cancel your policy due to your pet's age, health or claims history.

We cover vet exam fees

Petplan covers veterinary exam fees for injury or illness visits, saving you $50-$250 on average per trip to the vet.*

Holistic coverage included

Because we believe all pets should have flexible treatment options, Petplan won't charge you extra for holistic therapy coverage. Homeopathy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care and laser therapy are covered by our pet insurance when performed by a licensed veterinarian.

Our dental coverage is comprehensive

Petplan covers dental injuries and diseases for all teeth. We’ll cover non-routine dental treatments—such as broken teeth or periodontal disease—as long as your pet has an annual dental exam and gets recommended treatment to prevent illness or injury.

We’re always here for you

We understand that accidents and illnesses can happen at any time, which is why we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our in-house Happiness Managers are here for you via phone, live chat and social media when you need us the most.
